What am I saying now?

Someone said recently that our view of the world is shaped way too much by the media and their perception of things, and it's true. When you think about it, most of your opinions on things in the wider world, politics etc are a result of what you've read or heard in the mainstream media. The London bombings are a case in point. Now I don't know what to think, the 'official' position has changed so many times. Ditto the Jean de Menezes shooting. The news on the internet could well be closer to the truth than what we are required to believe by the people who control TV and papers, but then again read it all and TALK to other people about it and THINK. We dont do that any more, we all believe stuff in glorious isolation from the rest of the community. So we don't conclude anything as a community, so we don't do anything about anything. This suits the suits.

Just a doggone minute there

How is it that I can have spent so long missing what is really going on? I never really understood the whole scenario when Robin Cook resigned from the Cabinet , but having learnt a load of stuff about why BushCo are doing what theyre doing I see the significance of what Cook was saying. Not only that, but the excuse for BushCo to do it was most likely cooked up by....... yes you guessed it.

Truth - something that is very hard to get to the bottom of. Jesus was. Truth that is....

and also maybe..
