What am I saying now?

Someone said recently that our view of the world is shaped way too much by the media and their perception of things, and it's true. When you think about it, most of your opinions on things in the wider world, politics etc are a result of what you've read or heard in the mainstream media. The London bombings are a case in point. Now I don't know what to think, the 'official' position has changed so many times. Ditto the Jean de Menezes shooting. The news on the internet could well be closer to the truth than what we are required to believe by the people who control TV and papers, but then again read it all and TALK to other people about it and THINK. We dont do that any more, we all believe stuff in glorious isolation from the rest of the community. So we don't conclude anything as a community, so we don't do anything about anything. This suits the suits.
